Zac Gordon

Zac Gordon is a professional educator with years of experience teaching in the classroom, leading workshops, giving talks and recording online courses. He has taught a range of web related topics from design and development to traditional programming and even robotics.

His technological teaching passion is WordPress. He loves being able to empower people to learn how to build sites for themselves that help them promote their own brands, businesses or organizations. For his more advanced students, he loves watching people move from being able to just build sites with the WordPress software to being able to understand how everything works behind the scenes and truly becoming WordPress developers.

Emerson Jeffries

Emerson Jeffries is a 13 year old web and graphic designer. While owning his own WordPress based business, he also juggles school, being a young artist in Mosaic’s performing art’s program, coming home every day to 5 siblings, 4 of which are younger than him.

With all this daily activity, Emerson still manages to deliver aesthetically pleasing results to clients that show a drastic growth in the number of sales and customers those busineses receive. His firm, Emerson DSign, Inc. has serviced over 50 small businesses and individuals and is still looking to provide more people with digital solutions that have been proven to establish and replenish brands across Metro Detroit and abroad.

Founder and Project Lead at 11Web, a small digital agency based in Battle Creek, MI. A code junkie since junior high, Sara started her business with just a cell phone, a laptop, and a load of enthusiasm in 2012. Since then, 11Web has served over 100 clients, all thanks to referrals and word-of-mouth.

He enjoys helping people understand and use WordPress to it’s fullest capacity. When he’s not in front of the computer (which is rare), he enjoys spending time traveling and being outside. Stephanie Brinley

With a life-long passion for art and a BFA in Graphic Design, Stephanie is a web designer with an emphasis on design. She started freelancing as a print designer many years ago, but found the transition to digital design a natural progression. Stephanie and her husband began experimenting with WordPress around version 2.0 and built a thriving company around it. In 2011 they moved their family to Jacksonville, FL, and rebranded as Flightless.

Stephanie has been involved with the Florida WordPress community since 2014 and has been honored to share her knowledge at WordCamps around Florida and the inaugural WordCamp US. She is also a founding organizer of WordCamp Jacksonville. Most weeks you will find her attempting to balance digital design and homeschooling, exploring the world of flavors she can invent in her kitchen, and sometimes on Twitter @sjbrinley.

Rahul Bansal

Rahul is the founder and CEO of rtCamp – only WordPress.com VIP Partner from Asia. His WordPress journey began in 2007 when he was looking for ways to customize his blog. Later on, he moved from professional blogging to freelancing, and from freelancing to starting rtCamp in 2009. At work, Rahul plays multiple roles, switching between sysadmin (his favorite), to sales and everything else company demands from him.

Over the years, Rahul has contributed to the WordPress community in different ways as a WordCamp speaker, organizer, volunteer, polyglot, theme/plugins developer. Outside of WordPress, he loves spending time with his son and is a self-proclaimed foodie.

Christie Chirinos is a Partner in & the Business Manager at Caldera Labs, a WordPress plugin company. Caldera Labs is the company led by Josh Pollock behind Caldera Forms, a leading drag-and-drop form builder for WordPress, and a handful of other free and premium plugins. Christie started selling online at the age of 14, and has launched her own ecommerce site, sold on third-party platforms, monetized a blog, created sites for lead generation for service businesses, and then focused in for 3 years on tech for nonprofit organizations. Now, she has moved on to digital downloads. Christie received her Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in information systems management from Florida State University, and is currently based out of New York City.

AJ Morris

I’m a Product Manager for Liquid Web, a fully managed hosting company. I work on various WordPress products and initiatives focusing on open-source, community, and spreading the love of WordPress. I have been involved with the WordPress community since 2006, working with theme and plugin companies in support and project management positions. In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with my lovely wife and newborn daughter.

Kyle Maurer

Kyle is basically the guy who takes care of any guitar solo related needs at Easy Digital Downloads…and occasionally some support tickets as well. He’s been developing websites since 2009 and loves making WordPress plugins.

Additionally Kyle enjoys brewing (and drinking) craft beer in his home state of Michigan where that kind of thing is quite popular. There are very few varieties he’ll turn down when offered but a hop-heavy IPA or a sour Saison will typically get him quite excited.

During the day, Kyle divides his time between organizing WordPress events in Jackson and Ann Arbor, preparing talks for WordCamps, building WordPress sites for cool businesses, hacking on his latest plugin project and helping EDD customers make their online stores flourish.

Thomas Stirling

Thomas Stirling founded Stirling Technologies in 2008 while still attending the University of Vermont as a boutique consulting firm. His experience within his major at UVM, a unique combination of business and computer science, propelled his desire to found and run a business of his own in his field of expertise. Since graduating with honors in 2010, Tom moved his business back to Massachusetts permanently, first opening up shop in Woburn before moving into Stirling Technologies’ current offices in downtown Winchester.

In 2015 Tom became president of the Woburn Business Association, which for almost 30 years, has been advocating for the businesses of Woburn. In the last few years as a board, Tom has worked extensively with the WBA in building an online member community, and developing a content strategy across social media and blogging platforms that promotes member engagement.

Tom is a former acclaimed wrestler and still likes to remain active, especially during the winter months with his passion for snowboarding. He is also extremely involved in the community: he is active within the UVM alumni, a member of the Winchester Chamber of Commerce and belongs to several local business networking groups.

Brian Richards, the creator of WPSessions.com, has been using WordPress since 2007 and leading development teams since 2011, most recently within Crowd Favorite.

Marc has been involved in many aspects of technology since the age of 10 when he got his first “account” on the local University’s mainframe. After catching the programming bug, he has done everything from building custom applications for retail to participating in building an Internet Service Provider from the ground up.

Currently, Marc lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he fills the role of Operations Manager for ServerPress, LLC. But his true passion lies with fostering and helping kids in need. Beyond his two children, he and his wife Jessica have taken in a sibling group of three on a mostly-permanent basis, along with working with the local foster agencies to be able to adopt another sibling group of two to three more.
